It is a prominent civic center and covers 1,326 acres (5.37 km 2). My wife and I look forward to watching many hockey games & participating in many public skating sessions at CCIC, and we hope both the local hockey community & the general public embrace it as a valuable civic asset for a long time to come.Forest Park is a public park in western St. The atmosphere at the grand opening event was very upbeat, the new CCIC staff members are very friendly, and the work-in-progress public areas show a sense of thoughtful design for user comfort & convenience. The outdoor seasonal rink when completed will be a unique feature for many of us casual skaters to enjoy, and is slated to be the site of entertainment & other public events during the warmer months of the year. ![]() Louis Blues practice ice - are welcome additions to the region's hockey & figure & recreational skating options. This rink has been hosting a lot of youth & adult hockey sessions plus holiday season public skating, unloading the indoor rinks to accommodate figure skating & learn-to-skate sessions as well as sled hockey & other game play during peak hours. One significant addition in the last couple of months has been the opening of the 314 Social Eats + Drinks bar & grill at the south end of the entry lobby. The construction crews have continued to make progress on wrapping up public area finishing work and meeting/gathering spaces inside Centene Ice since the grand opening. ![]()
